Feeling ho-hum about your sex life? You’ve got company. According to a new study by Public Health England, almost half of millennial women say they do not have an enjoyable sex life. While the researchers didn’t say why, we can’t help wondering if this dissatisfaction is a result of orgasm inequality in the bedroom.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: female pleasure matters. Women have a right to enjoyable sex and we want to help make it happen. Thankfully, so do the editors at Mashable, who got insight from gynecologists, sex educators, sex therapists and orgasm equality activists to help identify ways we can close the orgasm gap. Tip number one: Don’t fake it.

“If you faked, you gave them the wrong information, and then they think things get you off that might not,” says Heather Corrina, founder of Scarleteen.
